About Mike
My name is Mike from MSM Tuition, based in Bournemouth. I am a full-time, professional Mathematics and Physics Tutor providing high quality, specialised tuition at both GCSE and A-level. I excel at improving the student's attainment level to ensure they get the necessary grade for their future education.
I was a Grammar School Teacher for 12 years, teaching GCSE and A-level Physics, consistently achieving excellent results. I was also an A-level and GCSE Physics and Mathematics Tutor during much of this time, improving students' grades to allow them to progress with their future education. On top of being both a Teacher and Tutor I have also been an exam marker, meaning I have great experience of a huge range of problems and issues students face when tackling these all-important exams.
Due to the success I have had as a Physics and Mathematics Tutor, I have decided to do tutoring full-time. I am now in my 19th year of professional tuition. The methods I use are simple but profound - identify the key misconceptions and areas of weakness in the student's knowledge and understanding, then use my experience and subject knowledge to tailor a specific, personalised tutoring programme in order to meet the target grade.
