About Carolyn

Hello! My name is Carolyn and I have just completed my MSc at UCD in World Heritage Management in Conservation, where I focused on cultural heritage law and nationalism and wrote my dissertation on culinary nationalism in Australia and the United States. I think that there is no reason that the social sciences need to be boring, and I want to share my love of literature, art, culture, and history with you by teaching these subjects in a relatable and memorable way as I have with many others over the years. I am excited to help you succeed and look forward to meeting you!

My genuine love for the arts and social sciences shines through in my approach to teaching, as I think that there is not reason that learning needs to be boring! I incorporate engaging elements into my explanations and that make the information more accessible, and will work alongside you to develop a programme that fits your needs.

I offer both 30 and 60 minute lessons for Post-Primary students in a variety of disciplines. I am currently based in Dublin, but am more than happy to meet online!

For Junior Cycle students, I can offer lessons in History, Geography, and English. For Senior Cycle students, I can tutor in English, Geography, History, and Politics and Society.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you think I may be the right fit for your tutoring needs!
