About Harsh
I recently completed an MSc in Criminal Justice after studying Law at undergraduate level. I have a strong interest in criminology and the criminal justice system, particularly policing, punishment, rehabilitation and the factors that influence crime and justice.
Having recently been a student myself, I understand that some theories and academic concepts can be difficult to understand at first. I want to use the knowledge and skills I developed through my degrees to help other students build their understanding and confidence.
I am patient, approachable and will always try to explain things in a clear and straightforward way. My aim is to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through areas they find difficult.

My lessons will be focused on making Criminology clear and easier to understand, while adapting each session to what the student needs help with. I can support students with criminological theories, policing, punishment, prisons, youth justice, rehabilitation and other areas of criminal justice.
I can also help with essay planning, structuring arguments, critical analysis, academic research and referencing. Rather than simply giving students answers, I will work through topics with them and help them understand how to build their own arguments and improve their work.
Lessons will typically last one hour and can be adapted around upcoming assignments, exams or particular topics the student is struggling with. I have an MSc in Criminal Justice and an LLB Law degree, and my lessons are suitable for college and university students studying Criminology or related subjects.
