About Iulia
I've been producing my own music since I was fourteen. Since then, I studied Music Technology at University and then a Masters in Audio Engineering. I'm a freelance audio engineer. I arrange and produce my own music - my recordings have been played on BBC Introducing, Cambridge 105 and Cam FM, my original song ‘Aquarium’ was chosen as the official soundtrack for ’13 Shades of Romanian’, an award-winning TV mini-series documentary.
Familiar with the general mic-ing techniques and with a large array of models of microphones
Experience with large mixing consoles, such as SSL 9000k, SSL AWS Sony DMX, Audient ASP 8024.

Before learning about music production at University, I was self-taught - so I know the struggles of someone who wants to learn to mix from tutorials etc! It's always easier when someone shows you how to do it.
Lessons can be tailored to the student's needs and areas of interest. Can teach software such as Logic X, Pro Tools or Reaper, or focus on mixing or recording techniques. Best suited for someone who wants to learn how to produce or mix their own music.
Can also teach songwriting or music theory.
