I am a Monash University graduate, and I recently completed my Master's in Applied Economics and Econometrics, with a focus on Development Economics. I am from the Maldives and have resided in Melbourne for almost two years. People around me would describe me as empathetic and supportive, and I strongly believe these traits make me a good tutor. My approach to teaching involves understanding the level at which the student is currently at, and what they are trying to achieve. Following this, I develop a personalized study plan catered to their needs, and learning abilities. My lessons commonly run for 1 or 2 hours, and this is decided based on the student's attention span and availability. I have experience teaching students who are 5–18 years old. What makes my approach to teaching unique is that I ensure that learning is enjoyable, without compromising on effectiveness or the attainment of the learning objectives that have been set.
