About Omar
I am an experienced Data Scientist/Engineer that has a lot of experience at some of the biggest tech firms in the world. I started my journey at a selective grammar school in Essex studying Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Philosophy at A-level and scoring amongst the highest in my year. I then went to study Maths and Computer Science at QMUL in London. During my University years, I secured a one-year placement with Microsoft in Reading where I worked as a Technology Consultant. After graduating, I received multiple offers from KPMG, BAE Systems and Amazon. I joined Amazon as a Graduate Business Analyst where I performed complex predictions for warehouse delivery demand. I then joined Sainsbury's as a Technology Graduate where I spent a few years learning all of the necessary skills to be a strong software engineer, data engineer and data scientist. I then left to join the FCA to become a technology consultant where I lead large tech and data-related projects.
