About Emily
I am a 19 year old medical student, originally from Middlesbrough, but recently moved to London fo university.
I have tutored 6 students in A-level biology and chemistry in the last 2 years, whilst achieving these qualifications myself, working, and volunteering. Their grades rose, on average, from a D/E, to a B.
I have also tutored 4 students in GCSE maths in the last 2 years, both in secondary school, and those resitting in sixth form.

I achieved an A* in A-Level biology, an A in A-level chemistry, and an A in A-Level mathematics.
I am happy to give lessons to students both individually, and in a class style setting in A-Level/GCSE Biology and Chemistry, and GCSE Maths.
Although I have a method of teaching that I like to use, ultimately if the student learns better with a different style of teaching, then I'm more than happy to adapt.
I like to first go through the content with the students, asking questions to test them as I go along, but also allowing them to ask anything they need to. We can then go through some helpful resources, and past exam questions related to the topic. We can then go through the mark schemes together and work on exam technique and where to improve.
