About Hamza
My name is Hamza and I am currently studying Dentistry. Alongside my degree, I work as an online tutor helping GCSE and A-Level students improve their understanding and confidence in Maths, Chemistry and Biology.
I began tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping students make sense of topics that initially seem difficult or overwhelming. Many students struggle not because they are incapable, but because concepts have not been explained in a way that works for them. My goal is to break complex topics down into clear, logical steps and guide students through problems in a structured way so they can build both understanding and confidence.
I have been delivering one-to-one online tutoring since 2023, supporting students studying across the main exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC/Eduqas. My lessons are tailored to the student’s syllabus and learning style, and I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, past paper practice and developing a deeper understanding of the subject rather than simple memorisation.
As a current Dentistry student with a strong background in science, I understand the level of discipline and problem-solving required to succeed in academic subjects. I aim to bring that same structured and supportive approach to my tutoring, creating a professional and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and steadily improving their performance.

My tutoring approach is structured, clear and tailored to the individual student. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding rather than relying on memorisation, helping students break down complex topics into manageable steps. During lessons, I use guided explanations, worked examples and exam-style questions to reinforce learning and ensure students can apply concepts confidently in exam situations. I also regularly identify knowledge gaps and adapt lessons accordingly, making sure time is spent strengthening weaker areas. A strong emphasis is placed on exam technique, including understanding command words, structuring answers and practising with past paper questions.
Lessons are typically one hour long, which allows enough time to explain key concepts, work through examples together and practise questions with feedback. I tutor GCSE and A-Level students, covering both Foundation and Higher tiers where applicable. My experience includes delivering one-to-one online tutoring in Maths, Chemistry and Biology since May 2023, supporting students studying across major England exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC/Eduqas.
Alongside my tutoring experience, I am currently studying Dentistry, which has given me a strong academic foundation in Chemistry and science subjects as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing confidence in their understanding and steadily improving their performance in assessments and exams.
