About Antonio
I have a background in high-profile journalism, with substantial experience across national television, radio, and newspapers in the UK and Portugal. In addition, I am currently completing a PhD at the University of Cambridge, where I research and teach the work of some of the great communicators of the past. I have more than a decade of experience in the subject, as well as a First Class degree and a Masters degree from Cambridge. Before that, I got 4A* at A-level, including in Media Studies.
My sessions thus combine the academic expertise of a Cambridge tutor, the sharp insight of a seasoned journalist, and the experience of a successful student. For GCSE and A-Level students, I offer a deep understanding of the various exam boards (AQA, OCR, Pearson Edexcel). I help students develop key skills, adopt effective exam strategy, and target the marking criteria.
For university students and professionals, the focus is more personalised and will depend on the client's specific challenges. Depending on your needs, we can refine your investigative techniques, writing style, on-camera presence, interviewing protocols, and other skills necessary to capture audiences with authenticity and impact.

Antonio was my tutor at the University of Cambridge, where he taught a class on international political organisations. It is rare to come across a professor who is both academically brilliant and extremely affable. Not only did I enjoy his classes at Cambridge, but I have also come back to him for advice over the years, which is a testament both to his teaching and his character. I would recommend Antonio as a tutor to anyone looking for a personable and highly dedicated tutor.

I first met Antonio through a colleague who recommended him as the person to go to for media training. I had a couple of sessions with him with the aim of preparing for a business event back in Sweden which I was somewhat stressed about, as I was meant to be giving a speech in front of a live audience. The experience with Antonio was fantastic, both in terms of his public speaking expertise (he is a former TV presenter and really knows his stuff) and the level of empathy and attention he brought to the sessions. I have no issues in offering my highest recommendation.
Antonio is the real deal. Initially I hesitated about hiring him because he was a bit more expensive than other tutors out there, but I have to say it was worth it.
