About Jonathon
I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Technological University Dublin with a first-class honors degree (1.1), combining strong academic credentials with practical, real-world experience. Currently serving as an Armorer in the Irish Defence Forces, I have worked on hands-on engineering and design projects, giving me a unique perspective that I bring into my tutoring sessions. In addition to my military role, I have served as an instructor at the Ordnance School, where I developed effective teaching skills by explaining complex technical concepts to a diverse group of learners. This experience has honed my ability to tailor lessons to different learning styles and break down challenging material into clear, understandable parts. I am passionate about helping students succeed by providing patient, personalized support in key mechanical engineering subjects such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, CAD, engineering maths, and machine design. My tutoring approach is clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building genuine understanding of mechanical engineering principles by breaking down complex topics into manageable steps.
