About Sonia
I was born in Moscow, Russia, and moved to the U.S. in middle school. My passion for teaching started early when I began giving chess lessons to younger students. I became fascinated by the process of tailoring learning approaches to each individual, finding ways to make complex ideas click. Throughout high school, I tutored in a variety of subjects, from English to math and science. But it was in college that I truly understood the importance of building a toolbox for independent learning.
