About Caitlin
I’m passionate about helping students understand and enjoy Maths and Physics. I’ve always been curious about how things work, which led me to gain practical experience in engineering and technical problem-solving. Teaching allows me to share that knowledge and show students how these subjects connect to the real world. As someone with dyslexia, I know firsthand how challenging traditional learning methods can be. This has inspired me to develop alternative learning strategies, which I now use to support students who learn differently. I enjoy making lessons engaging, personalised, and confidence-building, so every student can feel capable and motivated in Maths and Physics.

I offer personalised Maths and Physics lessons to build confidence, improve understanding, and make challenging concepts manageable. Whether you’re preparing for exams, catching up on classwork, or deepening your knowledge as an adult or parent, I tailor each lesson to your goals and learning style. I have experience supporting students from GCSE to A-level, including teaching GCSE Maths and Physics at a school, and bring practical engineering and technical problem-solving experience, giving real-world context to lessons. As someone with dyslexia, I understand how traditional methods can make learning difficult, and I use alternative strategies I’ve developed to help students who learn differently succeed. Lessons structure: - Typical lessons last 60 minutes, but I can adjust depending on your needs. - Each lesson usually starts with a recap of previous work, moves on to new material, and finishes with exercises and feedback.
