About Parimal
I have an undergraduate degree in Medicine and throughout my academic life have been a part of NGO's that gave me opportunities to teach. As a part of Pune based organisation Lift for Upliftment I had the opportunity to give NEET UG coaching to the tribal students of Melghat. The Medical Students' Association of India gave me several opportunities for health education of children and adults alike. I am also a certified comprehensive sexuality educator and have my own organisation doing work in the field. I understand that biology is complex but there is pattern behind this complexity and students only need to be made aware of these patterns for them to see the beauty of biology.

The syllabus of any subject can be divided into concepts and facts. Every subject has a variable amount of these two. If the concepts are taught correctly, they can be retained forever even with just one teaching. The facts on the other hand need memorization. While a teacher can only do so much to help with memorization, I believe that explaining the history of certain facts or the origin of complex words helps in their long-term retention.
