About Adam
Hi, I’m a maths tutor specialising in 11+ and GCSE, with a range of experience helping students improve their understanding and confidence in the subject. I have just completed my A-Levels, where I achieved 3 A*s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics, and I am currently studying for an integrated Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at University College London — ranked among the world’s top 10 universities.
Having recently been through GCSEs myself, I understand what students struggle with and how to overcome those challenges. My lessons are clear, engaging, and tailored to your needs — whether you want to tackle difficult topics, improve exam technique, or achieve top grades.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs - no two students are the same, and I make sure to adapt my approach so you get the most out of our time together.
Lesson Format:
We usually start by identifying the topics you’d like to focus on, or areas where you feel less confident. I can also help you work through homework, past papers, or specific questions you’re struggling with.
Each session typically includes:
? a quick warm-up to review previous material
? clear explanations of key concepts
? step-by-step worked examples
? plenty of practice questions, with guidance as you solve them
? exam technique tips to help you maximise marks
I encourage students to ask questions at any time - there are no silly questions! My aim is to create a friendly, supportive environment where you feel comfortable learning and making mistakes as part of the process.
