About Simran
I am keen to help students who are struggling with GCSE and/or AS/A2 level mathematics as I know these qualifications can be challenging, but with the right level of practice and understanding, and some hard work along the way, there is no reason anyone can't excel in this subject.
I have always been very passionate about Maths from a young age and went on to study a Maths degree and do the Actuarial qualification. I achieved a first class degree from Imperial College London.
I know everyone is different in how they study, so my first step with you would be to understand what areas you are struggling with as well as your style of working. I would tailor our sessions to focus on these key areas and give you tips and advice for what you should do outside of the tutoring hours. To make the most of our sessions I would give you practice exercises to do between sessions to help me monitor how you are progressing. However, I am flexible and keen to ensure the sessions are tailored to suit your needs whilst equipping you for success.

Simran explains things in a simple way that I can understand. She has a genuine passion for Maths and it makes learning from her that much more interesting. Being a qualified actuary she is able to explain complex concepts in a clear and logical way to those who may not know very much about the subject matter.
Hard working, supportive and caring are some of the words I would use to describe Simran. She is one of four siblings so has had a lot of practice supporting her younger siblings with navigating through Maths GCSE and A level. She really enjoys teaching Maths to others and has always loved the subject.
