About Harry

I'm a Computer Science student at Trinity College Dublin, and before that I studied Physics with Astronomy and Space Science at UCD. I got H1s in Leaving Cert Higher Level Maths, Applied Maths and Physics, and I've competed in the Irish Maths Olympiad.
I sat the Leaving Cert recently, so I remember what it's like and know what the exam is looking for. I enjoy explaining things, and I'm patient with students who've found maths frustrating.

Each lesson is built around what you need, whether that's a topic you're stuck on, homework, or exam practice.
In a typical session we'll:
Go over anything you found hard since last time
Work through the topic step by step, focusing on why each method works
Do exam questions together, using the marking scheme so you know where marks are won and lost
I'll ask you to explain your thinking as we go, because that's the quickest way to find where things go wrong. Closer to the exams, we'll focus on past papers and timing.
I teach Higher and Ordinary Level Maths and Applied Maths, Junior and Leaving Cert, in person in South Dublin or online.
