About Marcin
I am a qualified Maths teacher (former KS5 Co-ordinator & IB Subject and GCSE Curriculum Lead for Maths) and a private tutor with BEng and MSc degrees from a university of technology, PGCE from Goldsmiths, and top A-level equivalent grades in Maths. Prices vary depending on the level, location, and number of hours. I am a Polish native speaker who has lived in the UK for 15 years. I also offer Polish language lessons for English and Russian speakers as well as English lessons for Polish and Russian speakers. Individual approach based on your needs and assessment. Additional information is available upon request. I have approx. 20 years of tutoring and teaching experience at all levels from Secondary through to GCSE and A-levels or equivalents. The great majority of my students have achieved or exceeded their goals and passed their examinations. I will be happy to help you as well. I speak all three languages (English, Polish, and Russian) fluently as well as some Spanish, and am a qualified translator - a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (Chartered Linguist). Face-to-face maths tuition is available across West & Central London in Kensington, Chelsea, Hammersmith, Fulham & Westminster as well as other locations including, but not limited to Shepherd’s Bush, Acton, Earl’s Court, Belgravia, Pimlico and Chiswick. Online maths tuition is available worldwide. We start with an initial consultation to discuss your requirements, typically combined with an initial assessment of your child. Once a plan of action has been agreed upon, I will recommend one of our pricing models or, in some circumstances, provide you with an individual quotation. Subsequently, I will deliver an individual learning programme with the overarching aim of achieving your goals, removing any fear of maths, and making the learning experience fun. Through my custom one-to-one maths tuition programmes, I can help students achieve grades A*-B, or 9-7 with flying colours. My personal best achievement so far is an improvement of 3 grades in six months and 4 grades in one year.
