About Dattatreya
I am a professional degree holder with M.tech in computer Science Engineering having 35 years of teaching experience in Engineering College. I taught many of the fundamental programming subjects to the first year engineering students where in the students should know the very very fundamental knowledge of maths such as simple interest, compound interest, area of circle, rectangle, triangle, finding circumference of various geometrical figures etc as these things(equations) need to be used in programming examples that we teach. I find that 80 percent of the students lag from the basics of the mathematics that they have learnt during their school days and that makes them difficult to build further concepts. Not only that, any students who face competitive exams after 10/12/degree, most of the questions under "mathematical fundamentals" are from the concepts that we learn during our school days. So, it is very much essential to make our fundamentals very very strong especially in mathematics so that you are one step near to your success ladder.

I always believe in outcome based education system which is nothing but you are accountable for what you have taught. Under the stiff competitive world, teaching/learning process has taken its own unbelievable changes and so is a parameter of paramount importance. In this context, my teaching method is always towards outcome based, value based and qualitative in nature. In this process, I believe to give some real time examples to make the concepts more clear and not only that some real time tools and graphic demonstrations also can be used for further clarifications of the concepts which are easily available on the net.
