About Brandon

I received my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, where I worked as a tutor in the student learning center. I have taught Geometry, Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and AP Statistics, and I have tutoring experiences in teaching SAT & ACT math. As a lot of students struggle with these subjects, I am particularly patient and understanding during my lessons. The feedback I receive the most from my students is that I make difficult topics seem much easier and that it takes them no time understanding something they were struggling with in class. This describes the effort I take into giving every student the best picture out of a learning challenge.

Having assisted thousands of high school and college students over 10 years of tutoring experience, I have come to understand essential student needs as well as to develop a natural instinct for teaching. I will adapt my teaching technique to your individual needs and learning style as well as provide visual tools and examples to enhance your learning experience as much as possible. I can easily identify where you are hitting a bump and guide you in the right direction. No challenge is too big for me and I will always take a student in need with me. I can provide tutoring in English as well as in Spanish, and I may also assist with other courses upon request.
