About Anisa
I am a bubbly and fun person, I enjoy learning about new things and always have something to talk about. I take passion in tutoring as it is extremely rewarding knowing I was able to help someone do better in their education. I had the opportunity to teach Secondary and Sixth Form in Computer Science, IT, Maths and Geography over the summer of 2025. This has helped me better my teaching skills and allow students to come to me with any needs. I may be teaching but I also want to come across as your friend. Somebody who you can talk to about any issues you may be facing or just as a trusted person. I have a Level 1 Qualification in Safeguarding issued by BBSCITT and am well aware of the practice and will continue to enforce it.

I offer private 1-1 sessions with students whether that’s face to face or online. I currently tutor 2 students in Maths and English, focusing on exam questions, how to read like a writer, how to be the teacher and spending time in understanding their difficulties. I take into consideration what they are learning in school so we can revisit these topics if they are struggling. A lot of the work we do will be giving you time to understand and answer questions, interactive activities using whiteboards or online resources. I also have a rewards scheme so students can be rewarded for their understanding, improvement in learning and completing their tasks. I am extremely friendly and understanding and have been tutoring since I was studying my A-Levels for friends and neighbours. I am happy to commute up to 5 miles in Birmingham. However, most of my students have performed best using online sessions as I am able to monitor their learning better.
