About Ashini
I have been teaching since very young but of course back then it was more like teaching the young ones in my neighborhood being the studios and nerd in school, they will come over to my house and I will teach a few of them for free. Then later I went to Uni, I started teaching my junior and my fellow classmates, and one great success story I had was I ensured all my classmates who weren't able to join me for degree and couldn't graduate with me pass and clear all their papers in the next semesters. Watching them thanking for being a graduate made me feel so content. After that, since pandemic hit us in 2020, I started teaching again online for primary school students and also my sister and her friends who were sitting for SPM. Since then, I have been teaching few kids on 1 to 1 basis. And now that I have completed my masters degree in February, I was explore and pursue teaching so I can work towards tutoring and lecturing in near future.

Since the pandemic I have been conducting classes online, and I would like to see the student's face so I am able to observe their reactions and facial expressions. I usually combine the direct and discuss style, whereby for the start I'll explain a topic thoroughly and on what to do, how to do it and give ample of examples. My favourite part is to give a relevant analogy so they can relate to it and understand better. Then, if needed Ill repeat until they can understand, next would be practice and practice to create familiarity. Some topics I will usually ask them to go through earlier and prepare questions so we can actually discuss it. This encourages critical thinking and lively discussion.
