About Rukieya
I am a postgraduate with a 2:1 (merit) Master's degree in software engineering who loves helping out fellow colleagues and students by teaching them how to solve software engineering assignments, tasks, projects and have been successful 100% of the time although I don't have any prior tutor experience however teaching comes naturally to me. I love to share the knowledge I have obtained during my studies with others who are still in education or who love to learn more about software engineering and help them succeed in their software engineering career. I am a go-to friendly person, who will help you work at your own pace and my lessons will be chill and relaxed and just more coding fun and creativity.

Typical length of a lesson would be 1 hour - 5 hours maximum per day. My techniques and approach to teaching are by understanding the level of a software engineering student to: - Cater to the students' needs of what they’re facing with software engineering that is difficult for them now, and taking it from there by teaching students the following: - Going through coding challenge tasks to improve problem-solving - going through the fundamentals of JS, HTML, CSS, Node.js, Express.js or Ruby & Ruby on Rails, and SQL full stack (backend and frontend knowledge) - going through Git and GitHub - using a practical approach. On day one, I ask the to think of a project idea as well as get to know the student. Each time we have a lesson, I use the knowledge I have taught them to apply to the project, building the project bit by bit each lesson. For example, when I teach HTML, I could ask the students to start by building the frontend structure of their web app, applying the HTML knowledge they have just obtained, and assisting them when they get stuck. Then, in another lesson, I would ask the student to add some CSS and JavaScript after learning CSS and JavaScript in that lesson. These lessons are for beginners and intermediate programmers, university students who are studying or hobbyists who want to learn more about software engineering.
