About Robyn

My title at work is an "Engineering Specialist". This means that I spend all day using my broad range of expertise to find solutions to complex problems, then use my communication skills to describe my solution to people without a math/science/engineering background. Sounds a lot like tutoring right! I am determined and compassionate, and will work with you to come up with a teaching style that fits with your style of learning.

About the class

I deploy a variety of teaching techniques to get you where you need to be. I like to draw live diagrams, use analogies, and strive to apply the subject matter to something you can understand.

I have rigorously studied a wide range of STEM fields (comp sci, physics, chem, math etc...) all the way from high school to a masters degree and am comfortable with any age/education range.

As math/science is all around us, I believe most topics can be taught to any age with the right tools!

Robyn's grasp on complex topics is unmatched by their ability to break the topic down for their student. They're really good at creating real world scenarios for me to follow and learn new ideas. They taught me a lot about physics and computer science.
