About Romain
I've always had a passion for languages. They allowed me to meet wonderful people, but learn through different cultures and regions. Teaching is a way for me to share my passion.
I have worked as a substitute teacher in secondary school, teaching English and Dutch to French-speaking pupils. I've also worked in an emergency call-center where I had to speak at 3 languages.
Besides languages, I also study music: I play the violin, sing, and compose/arrange. I also enjoy journaling.

On our first call, we'll define your needs and objectives. My lessons suit beginners, as well as advanced learners (A1-C1), such as Bachelor students.
Here's the programme of a typical lesson:
1) I introduce a new theme through a resource (text-video-game-audio)
2) We go through that resource
3) We target the difficulties (grammar-syntax-vocabulary)
4) We do some exercises
5) We summarise the lesson, and set objectives for the next one.
We can always focus on more specific topics, such as:
- improving pronunciation - expressing yourself orally - expressing yourself through writing - preparation for an event (Erasmus, Holidays, Job interview, Exam...)

Le sauveur de mon examen d'anglais ET de de néerlandais (Merci !!)
J'adore sa méthode d'apprentissage. Il est très sympathique, patient et très à l'écoute. Il m´a carrément appris à aimer le néerlandais.
C'est une personne remplie de pédagogie et très encourageante malgré les difficultés qu'on peut avoir . Alors que je n'avais pas étudié pour un examen, il m'a aidé pas à pas à comprendre toute la matière en une après midi et j'ai réussi cet examen avec un 17.5/20 alors que mon niveau de néerlandais général ne dépasse pas les 6/20.
