  • 1) Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

My journey with computers started when I received a scholarship for my bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Lacking prior exposure to computers, I taught myself programming using my father's old books before classes even started. I felt a huge sense of satisfaction when I was able to create different programs for practice and automate my repetitive daily tasks.
  • 2) What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

The rapid rise of AI usage as a learning accelerator has marked me most. Today, when dealing with complex tech stacks especially in big enterprises, AI makes it so much easier to pick up new tools to use. Exploring concepts that usually take hours of digging through documentations can now be understood in minutes, allowing developers to focus on building solutions faster. As AI can help write boilerplate code instantly, the turning point for developers will depend on how well they can design scalable and efficient systems.
  • 3) Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

As a professional backend developer, I build payment systems handling tens of millions of transactions daily. What keeps me passionate is the user impact, where high availability and reliability of the system directly affect the user experience. Continuous system optimization as systems scale and more features are added is critical, as backend architecture serves as the invisible foundation of the modern digital economy.
  • 4) Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

I don't have a single specific role model because I believe there is something valuable to learn from everyone's success story. Those visionaries certainly inspire me through their ability to create massively adopted digital products and market them globally. The obstacles that they had to overcome to scale their products into global businesses show that great things take time to build, there are no shortcuts. Resilience, persistence, and continuous learning are truly the keys to success.
  • 5) What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

I would tell them to start by focusing on one specific problem at a time. IT is a vast field, it is easy to get overwhelmed by over-researching things that aren't even relevant anymore to what you're trying to build. I advised them to gather information from multiple sources for different perspectives. Most importantly, to learn by doing rather than just reading. And if all else fails, that just means they clearly haven't had me as their mentor yet haha.
  • 6) What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

Beyond building digital products, I'm also fascinated by how the business side works. To broaden my skills, I learned about marketing, branding, customer relations, and business frameworks through building custom software for various business needs. Outside of work, I enjoy studying fundamental analysis for my investments in the stock market.
