About Joseph
I am a mathematically and technically trained tutor with a strong academic background in math and physics when as an undergraduate engineering student at Cornell I have completed advanced coursework in these fields. This work was in calculus I, II, and II, linear algebra, differential equations, and university-level physics that were electricity and magnetism, mechanics, and waves and optics. I have experience helping students at different levels build both understanding and confidence in quantitative subjects.
I take a professional, structured, and patient approach to tutoring. I come to each lesson prepared, tailor explanations to the student’s best way of learning as I would want to be taught in my scholastic career, and focus on clear communication and steady progress. My goal is not only to help students succeed on assignments and exams, but also to make challenging material feel approachable and manageable. I hope it makes the subjects be more interesting for students to study in their future endeavors as well.
