Manhattan School of Music Graduate Teaching Trombone and Euphonium Students Across Texas at All Levels

Edward has been tutoring my son in trombone over the last year. At end of year my son won an award for most improved playing trombone. Edward has been very flexible and courteous and good at communicating with reminders of when lessons will be. He is an excellent tutor!

Edward (Mr. D) gave my 8th grade trombone lessons and it was AMAZING. We were able to do individual and group lessons, and both were so beneficial! Edward was great with providing instruction on both the fundamentals and the nuances of the instrument. Highly recommend!

I know Edward from taking lessons with him. He's very great at giving lessons and knows many different ways to solve any issue you might have when playing the trombone. Also, the lessons aren't an instant solution, but they're a way to unlock many different things with one or multiple tricks.

Edward teaches my 6th grader trombone. He is absolutely amazing and has helped my daughter believe in herself and become even better. When she first started, she did not have much confidence in herself, but now she does. It was a rocky start to where she wanted to quit, but after Mr. D and I came up with a plan and I let her choose when she wanted to practice outside of school, she found her love for music again and did not want to quit. Edward has been doing private trombone lessons with my son for the last five months. With Edward’s coaching, my son has grown in his technical skills and ability to incorporate dynamics into his playing. It has been money and time well spent. Mr D has been a really great teacher throughout my time in band! He is always incredibly flexible and forgiving on scheduling, gives great feedback that dosent ever seem mean, and pushes students to their highest possible heights.
