About Anubha
I am a first-year undergraduate student pursuing B.Sc.(honors) in Psychology from Gokhale Memorial Girls' College, Kolkata. Before the introduction of Psychology as a subject in my life, English had been my favorite subject ever since my childhood, for which reason, I have chosen it as one of my general elective subjects in college. I have always enjoyed reading stories and poems. It just amuses me to read about how and why the characters behave the way they do. This interest in knowing their mindsets in detail drew me towards Psychology. My favorite author is Roald Dahl. Besides his incredible children's novels, his open-ended gruesome short stories make me gasp for my breath. Besides Roald Dahl, I thoroughly seek pleasure in the works of Mahesh Dattani, an Indian playwright. English Literature, for me, has always been like a sweet, lustrous meadow that I resort to for comfort and relaxation. Therefore, I can assure you that you will not only find a dedicated teacher in me but also have lots of merry and enjoyment.

-In my classes, you will fall in love with literature and will even start empathizing with the characters you read about. In addition to that, you will also learn a host of new words that you can use in other areas of your life. Doesn't it sound so cool to be able to think of more than just one word in relation to a particular situation? Here, your interpretation of the story will also be discussed. Last but not the least, we will have fun and I will make you realize the wonders of this subject if you do not love it already. -Classes will be conducted for an hour. The first 50 minutes will be spent discussing the chapter. The student will be given a fun activity (oral or written) in the last 10 minutes. -These classes are only meant for school students from standards 1 to 8.
