About Julien
Holder of a STAPS license and a diploma of federal initiator, incidentally seller in a Skateboard shop in Paris.
I've been skateboarding for 19 years, during which I organized, judged and participated in competitions. During these years I also gave many courses and initiations to children in nursery and primary schools as well as to adult audiences.
I have also been longboarding for over 10 years now.
I will share with you what I have learned after all these years on a board with pleasure.

My method:
Nourished by the experience of my own learning and my training in sports sciences,
Over the course of my lessons, I have focused my learning method on the balance and proprioception of my students with AND without their board.
Learning to fall and knowing when to get off your board, roll or land on your feet are essential things for controlled risk-taking in full awareness of the danger, the only guarantee to enjoy serenely.
Through play and the search for sensations, the student will learn to control his board, brake but also to understand how the board, the ground, the slopes and the rotations act on him and his balance in return.
Course location:
Classes take place mainly near La Défense but I also travel to Paris and the surrounding suburbs.
I suggest these places but you are free to suggest a place that suits you better.
- Skatepark of:
Courbevoie, La Garenne Colombes, Rueil Malmaison, Chatou, Nanterre, Houilles-Carrières, Quai de Jemmapes (Paris), La Muette (Paris), Batignolles (Paris)…
- Esplanades / "street spots":
Arena Esplanade (La Défense), Market Square (La Garenne Colombes), Porte Maillot (Paris), Palais de Tokyo (Paris), Trocadéro (Paris), Place de la République (Paris), Quays of the Museum of Orsay (Paris),...
Hourly :
Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Lessons on Saturdays and Sundays according to my availability.

Longboard
1 hour lesson / 40 €
2 hours of consecutive lessons / 60 €
Collective lesson :
1 hour for two students / 50€
1 hour for three students: / €60

Perfect! Julien est très pédagogue et sympathique. Il sait mettre en confiance et connaît le juste équilibre pour pousser l’élève à dépasser sa zone de confort mais en y allant doucement pour ne pas décourager. Après deux cours j’ai déjà fait beaucoup de progrès alors que je n’étais jamais montée sur un Longboard de ma vie et que je ne me considère pas du tout sportive ou ayant de l’équilibre.
Perfect! Génial ! Julien est très pédagogue et s'adapte au niveau de l'élève, ses exercices sont supers pour progresser. Merci Julien !
