About Jonah
Hi! My name is Jonah, and I'm 17 years old. I've recently taken the same GCSE exams that thousands of other students will be working towards which I find to be a huge advantage in helping other students to learn. I know that these exams can seem extremely daunting, especially as you edge closer and closer to them, counting down days, but I have first hand knowledge of this feeling and the best ways to counteract it! I'd love to share this knowledge with other students and help them through this stressful time.
Outside of Computing, I'm also extremely passionate for music, being a music scholar at my school and playing 7 instruments. I'd love to chat to anyone with an interest!

I think that as a student myself, I'll be able to connect much easier with others and having undergone / will be undertaking exams recently, I know exactly how it feels to be in the situation a student might be in and can help to both develop understanding of the subject and to help consolidate this knowledge during revision. My lessons are catered to how I think the student can most efficiently excel in Computing. However, I do teach by one main principal: I believe that in order to really ace the GCSE exams, a student needs to develop a proper understanding of how systems work, rather than just memorising definitions and keywords. I find that having this deeper understanding of a topic, makes it much easier to recall information about it when under pressure in an exam.
