My approach to teaching psychology is student-centred, exam-focused, and rooted in cognitive science principles such as retrieval practice, dual coding, and spaced learning. I aim to build both subject knowledge and exam technique through clear explanations, active recall, regular low-stakes testing, and lots of practice with real AQA-style questions. Lessons are interactive, adaptive to the student’s pace, and structured to develop independent thinking and confidence in applying psychological concepts.
The lesson may include -
