I had Joe as a tutor for almost the entirety of sixth form, from after my first couple of tracking tests in year 12. Within a few months of tuition, Joe had been a huge part in improving my grade from a D in the early parts of year 12 to a B just a few months later in my year 12 mocks. He is extremely good at explaining and breaking down tough essay questions and political knowledge so that you have a genuine understanding of the content in the course. In addition to this, he is an excellent communicator and is able to outline a clear and concise essay structure for students to follow, which was the thing I struggled most with and debatably the most challenging part of A-level politics. I honestly couldn’t recommend Joe enough as both a tutor and a person as he has all the necessary attributes to assist students of any ability to develop a coherent understanding of A-level politics. If I were to rate Joe out of 10, it would be a 9. The one dropped mark is due to the unfortunate fact he is indeed a Spurs fan, perhaps his only flaw as a teacher! Highly recommend.
