About Zoya
I have studied Mathematics in O levels, achieving an A* in my final examination. I am still studying Mathematics in A levels, which allows me to have a full understanding of mathematical concepts, especially at middle school level since they are the basics that must be mastered before students can proceed to higher levels (O levels). I believe that the only way this can be done is by understanding each concept and why there are certain mathematical rules, rather than memorizing them which provides no benefit in the long term.

I focus on teaching in an interactive manner where students will receive engaging sessions that focus on understanding the general concept, and then applying them to all types of mathematical questions. Classes will contain a learning period where concepts will be understood, not memorized, followed by a practice question segment where we implement what we’ve learned into practice. I aim to adapt my teaching style and speed according to the needs of the student, in order to support their learning. These lessons are directed towards middle school students (grade 6-8)
