About Anton
I’m an 18-year-old gap-year student who recently completed my A-Levels, achieving an A* in Mathematics and an A in Further Mathematics.
Having gone through GCSE and A-Level Maths relatively recently, I understand both the content and the pressure that comes with preparing for exams. I know how important good exam technique, clear explanations and targeted practice can be when trying to improve grades.
I’m friendly, patient and easy to talk to, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions without worrying about getting things wrong. My aim is to make Maths feel more manageable and help students build confidence as well as improve their results.
I’m particularly suited to GCSE students, including those preparing for November resits, as well as A-Level Maths students looking for extra support or aiming for higher grades.

My lessons are tailored to each student, whether they need help with weaker topics, exam preparation or pushing towards higher grades.
I focus on exam technique, past-paper questions and understanding the reasoning behind each method rather than simply memorising steps. I identify weaker areas and build lessons around them before progressing to timed exam-style questions.
For GCSE students, I can help with both Foundation and Higher Maths, including students preparing for November resits. For A-Level Maths, I can support Pure Mathematics, Statistics and Mechanics.
A typical lesson includes a clear explanation, worked examples, questions completed together and independent exam-style questions to identify remaining weaknesses. I aim to keep lessons relaxed and approachable so students feel comfortable asking questions.
I recently achieved an A* in A-Level Mathematics alongside an A in Further Mathematics, so I am familiar with the current exam system.
