About Evan
I am an A-level Geography student with a strong GCSE background in the subject. I am offering GCSE Geography tutoring to students who want to build their confidence and improve their grades. I studied Geography at GCSE myself not long ago, so I know the specification well, understand exactly what examiners are looking for, and I remember what it's like to feel overwhelmed by case studies and having the right exam technique.
I am planning to become a Geography teacher after I have studied Geography at university. Tutoring is a way for me to start doing what I love - helping other students flourish in a subject I am passionate about. I know how challenging GCSEs can be, especially when you're juggling multiple subjects and so I want to offer the same kind of support that helped me succeed.

I make sure every session is relevant and tailored to what the student needs. The first session will be 30 minutes and free — it will be a chance to talk through the student's goals, find out where they're struggling, and answer any questions they have. After that, each session will be 1 hour (unless we agree on something different) and will include a mix of recap activities, going over content they're unsure about, and finishing with some exam practice to check their understanding.
Sessions will be interactive, and I can provide extra resources like revision sheets, case study summaries, or past paper questions. I can cover any topic or exam skill within the AQA GCSE Geography specification — whether that's physical geography, human geography, or fieldwork and exam technique.
