About Amelia
Hi, I'm Amelia. I'm 18 years old and have just finished my A Level exams. I am currently on a gap year, studying to gain my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification, in addition to submitting applications to study Law and French at university in September. I have experience tutoring English, Languages and Drama to a range of ages and have gained a lot of skill in communication and teaching.

My focal point as a tutor is communication. I listen to the student's needs; what they're struggling with and could improve on, then I tailor my lessons to the level the student would benefit from most. I use a lot of examples to show several different ways of structuring an essay and getting your point across.
With regards to creative writing, I scored 100% in my GCSE English Language written exam and have won several creative writing and short story competitions over the years. I enjoy creating new concepts and can help a student to enjoy them as well.
My lessons are for Key Stage 3 and GCSE English students, but I can offer help at AS and A Level, additionally.
