About Oliver
Having recently been offered a place to study German at the University of Oxford from October 2022, I want to help others learn to love German as I myself have!
Having taken a mixture of GCSE/IGCSE subjects in Year 11, I am now an 18-year-old Pre-U and A-Level student at a top Grammar school in the North West of England, studying History, German, English Literature, and Philosophy and Theology. I am predicted to get A*s (D1s) in these subjects. I am familiar with the GCSE/IGCSE and AS curriculum for German as well as the exam expectations, but I am also willing to learn and branch out!

Being an 18-year-old A-Level and Pre-U student, I have tutored for 2 years, with my pupils ranging from Year 7s (11-year-olds) to Year 12s (16-year-olds).
I like to run lighthearted, friendly sessions, catering to each pupil's needs and listening to what each student wants to work on in order to help them achieve their goals. During my sessions, I can go through past paper questions, exam technique, as well as basic and advanced content. I can also focus on key grammar skills, having gained top marks in the Oxford MLAT German Language test in the admissions process.
My sessions are normally 60 minutes in length and focus on key GCSE and AS level topics.
