About Kanami
Hello! I’m a passionate language tutor who believes that learning should be fun, engaging, and inspiring. Originally from Japan, I moved to the UK after years of studying English myself, so I truly understand the challenges of learning a new language.
This experience allows me to empathise with my students and create lessons that are both effective and enjoyable.
With a background in customer service and hospitality, I know the importance of clear communication and confidence.
That’s why I specialise in musical-based learning, helping students improve their pronunciation and fluency through songs, rhythm, and role-playing. I love singing, musicals, and exploring different cultures through language.
My goal is to help you gain confidence, enjoy the learning process, and express yourself freely in English or Japanese. Let’s make language learning exciting together!

◆Customised Lessons: Whether you're a beginner or struggling with English pronunciation, I will personalize each lesson to match your goals—whether you're a child or an adult, looking for conversation practice, or aiming to build confidence.
◆Bilingual Experience: Having moved to the UK and studied English myself, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. I have over three years of experience teaching Japanese and also provide English lessons for Japanese learners. Let’s make language learning exciting and effective together!
