About Fakih
I graduated from Swiss German University (Indonesia) majored in Information Technology. I have worked as programmer for 2 years.
I'm a LEGO Enthusiast since a little kid and in 2010 I bought my first LEGO Robotics Set: Mindstorms NXT. I found it very enjoyable and thought that it would be very useful to students who is interested in technology. So in 2012 I set a robotics education center for young students in my home town, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It was well received, we have more than 200 students.
I coach many teams in WRO (World Robot Olympiad) Indonesia and WRO Final since 2016. In 2020, the team I coached won the 1st place Senior Category in WRO Final Canada. In 2021, I coached 3 teams (from Indonesia) in WRO Final against 200 teams from 65 counties and they all managed to be in top 8.
Starting this year (2022), I live in Clayton VIC as my wife does her doctorate in Monash University. I'm ready to share the fun and excitement of playing and learning with LEGO Robotics.

LEGO Robotics is a great tools to introduce students to robotic. It is easy, super fun and also challenging. Many schools have use LEGO Robotics Set as they apply STEAM based learning.

I usually divided my lessons into 2 categories:
- Regular Class: learn, play, build cool projects and do experiments using LEGO Robotics. Lesson takes about 60-90 mins, once a week.
- Competition Class: preparation for competition such as WRO, Robocup, FLL, etc. Lesson takes about 90-120 mins, 1-3 times a week.

Fakih is an amazing teacher! He has taught me robotics for almost ten years now, from when I knew absolutely nothing at all to being one of the country's regular representative in international competitions. He has both the patience to teach and communicate with someone who knows nothing about the field and the knowledge to guide an experienced someone to even greater heights. His passion for robotics is infectious and I couldn't thank him enough for teaching me these past ten years.
Fakih is a great teacher. He's very passionate about Robotics and knew a lot of things about building and programming. He's also very patient with young children and knew how to communicate with them (my children are 7 and 9 years old).
