About Simon
I have been teaching Spanish informally for about 3 years to friends and family and can thankfully say that I have instilled lots of confidence in each and every one of them in order for them to work with Spanish speakers, converse with them about anything or just order a cup of coffee without going red in the face from embarrassment.
To live and work in Spain, it is vital that one speaks and understands the language. Even just for paperwork, which can be a real headache.

I have been living in Spain for over 7 years and consider myself bilingual. I often do translation work and offer this service too.
I taught myself most of the langauge and completely understand the best methods of getting past the obstacles found when tackling grammar and the differences between Spanish and English.
After having spent just a year here, I was accepted into the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas (National
Language School) to study at the highest level (C2).
My method is simple. Start with familiar situations, then build around them with more advanced ones once the confidence has been found and the topic has been perfected.
