Learn Spanish from a native South American, I have a master's in Chemical Engineering and lived in South America for 30 years

Heidy is a great teacher! She has very flexible scheduling, and accommodates to what my university Spanish class is currently learning so I can be prepared. We go over material and then she confirms I understand it with questions and other activities. I will be continuing with her into my spring semester.

Heidy is a wonderful Spanish teacher! I bumped into her at a local coffee shop where she was giving a Spanish lesson to another student and I have been taking classes with her ever since. She comes to all of our classes prepared and takes teaching Spanish very seriously. Being a native Spanish speaker, she can explain the nuances of the language in great detail. Heidy is the best spanish teacher I have ever had. Her approach is very easy to understand and follow. She prepares her lessons with a great deal of detail. She keeps the curriculum very interesting be changing different topics and using a real life language tools. My Spanish has improved tremendously, I was able to take a business trip to Guadalajara, México without using a translator. I already speak 5 different languages and learning Spanish with Heidy is by far my favorite.

Heidy is an excellent person and professional, dedicated to work hard and enthusiastically with her students in order to get the best results in the Spanish learning process. Hola! My teacher Heidy is wonderful!!! She is consistent and takes her teaching very seriously. We also have a lot of fun! I am translating Spanish with only 9 lessons! I am reading too. I can’t say enough about how great her lessons are!!! I highly recommend her!!!! 5 stars ️!!!

Heidi lived with us for a short while when she visited the United States to spend time with her boyfriend (this visit resulted in a wedding proposal by her boyfriend and a permanent move to the United States for her).

From that time in the same household, and all subsequent time in which she has lived nearby, I have found Heidi to be very patient with both herself and others as she has had to communicate through various degrees of language barriers. She did not become shy nor lack confidence in herself as she was working to improve her English, and she was an absolute pleasure to talk to for me as I was trying to improve my Spanish.

It was clear from the beginning of our interactions that she is a very intelligent person even though communication was very difficult early on. Also, she is a very positive person and will light up the room with her energy and enthusiasm.
