Ayubowan! I’m Kumara, a passionate Sinhala language educator with over a decade of academic and teaching experience in Sri Lanka and abroad. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sinhala, a Master’s in Linguistics, and a PhD in Education — qualifications that allow me to blend deep language knowledge with modern, evidence-based teaching methods.
I previously served as a university lecturer in Sri Lanka, where I taught Sinhala language, literature, linguistics, and communication skills to students from diverse backgrounds. I offer simple, engaging, and easy-to-follow Sinhala lessons specially designed for children who are beginning their Sinhala learning journey. Using my background as a university lecturer in Sinhala Language and my experience as a child educator, I create lessons that are fun, structured, and aligned with the child’s developmental stage.
Beginner Sinhala for Children
