It is when we mature that we truly admire and begin to recognize the positive difference they made in our lives. There comes a point where we start being thankful to all our teachers, good or bad, but the most memorable ones will always be the ones who believed in us when we didn’t believe in ourselves. Raghavendhira is one such teacher! An amazing musician himself.Flexible, caring and patient, The influence he has over you extends beyond the class and well into the future. I highly recommend him!

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I was born in a musical family, My father used to teach me to sing songs and we used to record them on tape when i was 3. and my mother is a Veena artiste. So I was influenced by Indian classical music those days, When I was doing my 3rd Grade in school I was exposed to western classical music as I auditioned for the school choir, we used to sing classical pieces and would travel around the city singing carols in the Christmas season. So, Yes! it's the blend of both Indian and western classical traditions. Later I started performing film music when I was 11 years old. and developed interest towards it and someday I wanted to compose scores for the movies, And here I am.

Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
I have been at the recording studios since 8 or 9 singing choruses and i used to look at the engineer and the greatest thing that i wanted to do is to hit the space-bar. (yes it sounds funny) space bar works as the start and stop record option on any DAW. And I wanted to do that, so when I got home I used to play a song, make people at my home sing along and hit the spacebar and mimic the sound engineer saying, "Hey buddy! the higher note was a bit off" let's go for a retake. And I have wanted to own a studio since then. And yes! Am 26 now and 4MMP GROUP (4MMP records and 4MMP studios) is one of the sophisticated project studios in the city and we have our own Record label (4MMP Records).
