About Ajeeta

Ciao! I am Ajeeta, and I bring the heart of Italy to your screen.

Choosing a language tutor is about more than just finding someone who knows the grammar; it is about finding a guide who has successfully navigated the culture. My journey with the Italian language wasn't just built in a classroom—it was built through five years of living, studying, and thriving in Italy.

My Legitimacy & Background
I hold a Master’s Degree from a prestigious Italian university, an achievement that required me to integrate into the Italian academic system and master the nuances of daily communication. Living in Italy for half a decade allowed me to transition from a beginner to a confident speaker, and I am uniquely positioned to help you do the same.

Why You Can Trust My Approach
Because I moved from India to Italy myself, I understand exactly where the challenges lie for Indian learners. I don't just teach from a textbook; I teach from authentic experience.

Professionalism: My classes are structured, punctual, and tailored to your specific pace. I treat every student’s goal as my own.

Cultural Expertise: Beyond the "Verbs and Nouns," I provide invaluable insights into Italian etiquette, social norms, and the student lifestyle—knowledge that is essential if you plan to study or work abroad.

Supportive Environment: I remember exactly what it feels like to be a beginner. I provide a patient, judgment-free space where you can practice, make mistakes, and build your confidence.

My Promise to You
When you start classes with me, you aren't just getting a tutor; you are getting a mentor who has walked the path you are about to take. My mission is to ensure that by the time you finish our sessions, you don't just know Italian—you feel Italian.

Let’s turn your Italian dreams into a reality. I look forward to meeting you in our first session!

My Teaching Philosophy: The "Vivere l'Italia" Approach
I don't believe in rote memorization of grammar tables. Having lived in Italy for 5 years, I know that language is a living, breathing thing. My goal is to get you speaking comfortably while giving you the "insider secrets" of Italian life.

1. Teaching Techniques & Methods
The Situational Method: We won't just learn verbs; we will simulate real-life scenarios like ordering a caffè in a busy Roman piazza or asking for directions in Florence.

Audio-Visual Immersion: I use real Italian media—short clips, popular songs, and even Italian grocery flyers—to help you get used to the natural rhythm of the language.

Comparative Learning: Since I moved from India to Italy, I understand the specific hurdles Indian students face (like pronunciation or sentence structure) and I provide "hacks" to overcome them.

2. Structure of a Typical Class (60 Minutes)
The "Ripasso" (10 mins): A quick, conversational warm-up about your day to review what we learned last time.

New Concept Introduction (15 mins): A bite-sized grammar or vocabulary lesson (e.g., "The Art of the Present Tense").

Active Practice (20 mins): Interactive drills, role-playing, or reading exercises.

Cultural Deep Dive (10 mins): I share a story from my 5 years in Italy—discussing things like the education system, food etiquette, or regional habits.

Wrap-up (5 mins): Summary and a "mini-mission" (homework) for the next week.

3. My Special Features (Why Choose Me?)
Master’s Degree Perspective: I can guide you through the academic vocabulary needed if you are planning to study abroad.

Cultural Mentorship: Most tutors only teach the language. I teach you how to survive the Italian bureaucracy, how to find the best gelato, and how to integrate into Italian society.

Practical Fluency: I focus on "Survival Italian" first so you can feel confident from day one.

4. Who Should Join My Classes?
My lessons are specifically designed for:

College Students: Specifically those planning to move to Italy for higher education (Bachelors/Masters). I provide the "Pre-departure" context you won't find in a textbook.

Working Professionals: Looking to add a European language to their CV for better career prospects.

Travel Enthusiasts: Adults who want to explore Italy beyond the tourist traps and speak to locals in their own tongue.

Hobby Learners: Anyone who loves Italian art, food, and culture and wants to start a new journey.
