About Padma
I have been teaching since 1969. My strengths are building language skills using stories as the base to enhance foundation skills such as listening, speaking, reading and dialogue for comprehension. This then leads to writing.
I enjoy teaching using a theme and integrate the different subject ideas such as math, language, science and, social context as well.

I check what the student knows about the theme to be taught. I then proceed to give them an overview of the topic for the day. I give the key points and arguments. I bring in a dialogue to get a feel of the comprehension of thnt disciplines such as e student. I them proceed with the text, giving key vocabulary. I would assign the student to read the text and raise questions the following day.
