As I'm teaching animation and VFX which is actually an art form, so I prefer teaching that from an artistic school of thoughts. Although there is an stereotypical idea in society that these subjects are basically technology or so called Science and Mathematics and there is no need of aesthetics if you want to learn it. But I believe me my friend all the pioneers of this field always told that its an artistic medium. So I press the pedal of aesthetics and the technical side will follow that. You don't have to be a Picasso to learn animation. If you are an artist by soul and body that is more than enough. As the leading animation studio Pixar said, " Art challenges technology, technology inspires art".
