About Chaar
I’m Sharon and I’m of Colombian descent and a current Law student with a love for teaching on the side. I’ve previously taught GCSE English Literature, with students achieving top grades, but paused while focusing on Law. I’m now returning to tutoring because I’m more passionate about Spanish as it’s my native language, and I can help students engage deeply with the language, texts, and exam skills especially after having to go ahead with both sets of exams and understanding the difficulties most students (including myself at some point) had to face and how to overcome them

I’m a current Law student with a passion for teaching Spanish at both GCSE and A-Level (AQA). I can support all areas of the course, including reading, writing, listening, and essay structure. I also offer tailored guidance on key A-Level texts and films, such as Como agua para chocolate and El laberinto del fauno. Having achieved a 9 at GCSE and an A at A-Level*, I understand what it takes to excel and can help students build confidence, develop exam techniques, and reach their full potential.

Charon is an excellent tutor who is extremely patient and supportive. When learning Spanish with her I was comfortable to ask questions and learn from my mistakes which ultimately helped me achieve an A* in Spanish. She always keeps lessons upbeat to improve the learning process, changing my attitude towards Spanish (my least favourite subject )
Chaar guided me through my alevel spanish course, she was easy to book, flexible and very patient. Her 1-1 classes really gave me the opportunity to ask questions, gain exam practice and work advancing my oral skills to sound more confident for examiners.
