About Ejemen
I am an 18 year old post-A level student who is extremely passionate about English Literature! Doing English Literature work was always such a joy for me in school and a subject that I never regarded as a chore but I can understand how frustrating it can be to struggle and not be able to get your essays just right as it took me a long time to hone my skills to the point of an A*. That is why I want to teach, I want to not only help students reach higher marks in their exams but also inspire a love of the subject that can sometimes evade those who struggle to hit the exact specification points. Furthermore, as I successfully gained an offer from Oxford University I know that the application process can be strenuous and I would like to help those with high aspirations to tailor a personal statement that will help them get into universities of that calibre.

Sessions can range from between 1-2 hours. Free 20 minute introductory session to assess areas of focus with pupil. Teaching methods include a strategic breakdown of the specification and bespoke tasks tailored to helping the pupil understand where they fall short and close guidance on how to improve in technique and writing in specifically the way exam boards desire. This includes task completion which I will mark and following the plan which both the pupil and I deem conducive to success. In my role as Head Girl at my school I worked closely with younger pupils to help them grow in their academic potential and as both English Literature and History ambassador I have experience in helping younger students to hone their essay writing skills. My lessons are for A-level students and GCSE students.
