About Brandi

Currently, I am a certified educator with a full-time remote teaching position. I have three degrees in Education, including an Associate Degree in Early Childcare and Education from American Military University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University, and a Master of Education in Educational Technology and Instructional Design. Throughout my career, I have worked with students across all elementary grade levels, and I have experience in helping students with Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia.

My tutoring uses Science of Reading principles and evidence-based literacy practices to provide personalized instruction based on each student's individual needs. With my background in educational technology and instructional design, I also create engaging, purposeful online learning experiences that make virtual tutoring interactive and effective.

My goal is simple: to help every student strengthen their literacy skills, build confidence, and become a successful, independent learner.

About the class

Hi everyone! I am a certified educator and reading interventionist.

I recently opened The Reading Nook, an online tutoring program designed to help students who need a little extra support with reading and writing. I’ve worked with students with all kinds of learning needs, and I truly believe that sometimes all a child needs is the right support, a little encouragement, and someone who believes in them.

Because I am also a full time teacher, I understand how important flexibility and individualized learning can be. My goal is to make tutoring comfortable, encouraging, and tailored to each student.

I’m currently offering online tutoring for students who need help with things like:

Reading skills & phonics

Reading comprehension

Writing

Building confidence

Extra practice and support
