About Siyanda
Hi! I'm Siya from Johannesburg, South Africa, and I'm passionate about helping people communicate confidently in English.
I spent over 15 years working in corporate South Africa in Civil Engineering and Project Management. During that time, I led teams, presented to clients, managed complex projects, and wrote countless professional documents. This experience taught me exactly what clear, effective workplace communication looks like — and now I bring that knowledge to every lesson I teach.
I'm TEFL-certified and love watching my students go from hesitant to confident. That moment when someone realizes "I CAN do this" — that's what keeps me teaching.
Outside the classroom, you'll find me volunteering at animal shelters (those rescue dogs taught me patience!), listening to music, and learning about different cultures. I bring that same warmth, curiosity, and genuine care into every lesson.
